As we trace Isaac's story through famine in Genesis 26, we see that the question is not whether we have enough, but whether we will hear God and respond with what is in our hands. We are saved by grace, not works, yet grace calls us to respond. Baptism declares: the old life is buried, new life is found in Christ, and we belong to Him.
